I just recently bought a pair of Xbox One-Chat headset. They cost $30-35 online, and are actually great, not just for the price. They are very, very comfortable – it’s actually oval-shaped so it fits around your ears well, and the foam is very cushioning. The headphones are soft, and I’ve used them for over an hour at once and I didn’t feel discomfort from the weight. The sound quality certainly doesn’t stand up to a $300 pair of Sennheisers, but the sound is full and there is more than enough in the hi-range and lo-range. The mic quality itself is also surprisingly_ "not that bad"_ – my voice sounds pretty full, other people hearing your speaking will be able to make every word and syllable, and there hasn’t yet been any static. I don’t know about XB1, but I’ve used them with my PS4 quite successfully so far. The plug is for a normal 3.5mm headphone jack, but it comes with a splitter for separate mic/speaker ports for your pc. There is also a mic on/off switch in-line, with a volume switch as well. All in all, I’m quite pleasantly surprised by these headphones. I wasn’t looking to spend a lot of money and was more than prepared for a sub-par system; but I would honestly recommend them to anyone on a budget!
